What is Shadow Stalker?
Shadow Stalker is a Virtual Series I have been writing for over a year now. It is a spin off of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (BtVS) and Angel (AtS), and takes place during Season Six of BtVS and Season Three of AtS.
What is the premise of the series?
Well if you're a fan or a passing viewer of BtVS, I think everyone knows that Buffy sacrificed her own life in the Season Five finale for her sister Dawn. As we saw, when Dawn's blood caused the dimensional walls to blur together.
As a result of this, we all saw a large amount of demons pouring into this dimension, including a rather large black dragon...but whatever happened to the dragon? Shadow Stalker is the answer to that very question.
So what is my answer?
Basically, this dimension was not capable of sustaining such a large demonic form and subsequently reverted the dragon to human form. Shadow Stalker is basically the answer to what happened to that human, and in turn answering many unanswered questions in BtVS and AtS, as well as bringing in my own dark characters, plotlines and innovative cast.
So what can be expected from the series?
Secrets, betrayal, power, loves, family, and also many minor BtVS and AtS characters join the cast in one shape or form, but solely, this is an original dark creation from the fathoms of my mind.
Also, the protagonist, Xakiel Thorn, (aka the ex-dragon), meets a variety of people who are different but oddly similar to him in their own way. They each have their own pasts which affect who they are today, but none of them can escape the fact their futures depend on each other. Everything truly happens for a reason...
What have people said about the series?
Lina: "I Have to start by saying, I LOVED the characters you picked for this series! our fic is mainly interesting because It's focusing on characters that are not main in the JOssVerse."
Carla: "I just finished to read the first 4 chapters of "Shadow Stalker", and I have to say that I really like it....plus I find very entertaining the Xakiel/dragon thing."
Alex: "Ok I've read your first three episodes and I gotta say you're series is looking great! I was a little concerned with the premise at first, but I soon realised that you were gonna make it work!"
James: "The whole storyline is great, the way Xak came into this dimension as the dragon is fantastic. Can't wait to read everything that happens..."
Andrew: "Great series Lex! I read through all of the episodes during this week...I'll definitely be reading future SS eps."
Ben: "I loved all three episodes so much. Your collection of characters is AMAZING...Also, just to add...your art is soooo good it scares me. I just sit there for like 10 minutes at a time and just stare at your banners. Amazing work on the writing and the art. Can't wait to keep reading!"
Liz: "Ok as a first episode to a new series, it has a strong foundation. It starts from The Gift with the dragon (Xakiel). I thought this was a good idea for who he entered the current world and changed."
